Hello, I am Cathy Thomas, creator of Diddly Dot Boutique.  Thank you for your interest in my designs!  I thought I'd share a bit of my story.  I am happily married, to my husband Craig, and I have two beautiful daughters, Sydney (9) and Carly (3).  I began this business in January, 2008 and have been very blessed with wonderful friends and family who have been very supportive and instrumental in my sudden success!

I have been an Apex, North Carolina resident for 10 years and currently reside in Cameron Ridge Subdivision.  I am originally from Sanford, North Carolina.  I am the youngest of three girls and I come from a very hardworking family where my father worked as a carpenter and my mother as a seamstress.  I attended UNC-CH and currently practice dental hygiene two days a week in Cary, NC.  I devote my remaining time to my faith in God, my family and home, and most recently in creating unique and affordable children's clothing and accessories.

My sewing derived from a desire to have coordinating clothing for my two girls for church and special occasions, and a strong desire to express my personal creativity.  After most mall and boutique shopping, I found that since my two girls are six years apart in age I would not find matching outfits.  So, I began to search for fabrics.  I quickly realized the difference between TOP QUALITY DESIGNER fabrics and your ordinary ones found locally.  My fabric choices are not the least pricey, easy to find variety, but rather are most unique in print and feel.  I spend hours searching for the best fabrics to create "not so frilly" designs that any child is sure to love!
